Starting today, we are starting a goods collection for The Women’s Safe House, the oldest and largest organization in the St. Louis area dedicated to helping women and children impacted by domestic abuse. The Women’s Shelter is in need of new or very gently used women’s and children’s clothing and shoes, including school uniforms, various hygiene items, diapers, baby wipes, journals, first aid supplies, alarm clocks, gift cards, bus passes and other essential items for the women, children and teens they serve. To make donating even easier, VdM has set up an Amazon wish list. You can order from that list and have the items shipped directly to us. You are also welcome to bring items in at drop-off or pick-up. We will collect goods for The Women’s Safe House from today through Friday, November 10.
