Annual Giving

Total Raised: $21,139

It’s that time of year…the beautiful fall colors, the chilly fall breeze (finally!), and of course, it’s annual giving time!

This year our Annual Campaign will go towards Phase II of our campus revitalization project, and we have some great news to share! We are excited to announce that we met with our fantastic campus revitalization team, and we now have a plan that moves the Primary Village to Phase II. Woohoo!

Just to give you a quick run-down... Our campus revitalization project includes three phases.

Phase I included the Elementary building, the pool house, and the pavilion.  Phase I was completed this past May, and the children are fully enjoying the lovely new spaces. What a tremendous gift it is for the children to have this thriving community, not to mention, functional plumbing! If you haven’t been in to see the new classrooms, it’s a must see, and we’d be happy to take you on a tour!  Phase II includes the Primary Village, which has 3 classroom spaces and a flex space. And, Phase III includes an administrative building with a gymnasium.

Our goal is to raise $1.5 million over the course of 3 years and start construction for the Primary Village in 2020. This would mean we would have new primary classrooms ready for the start of the 2021 school year!

And, this is where we need your help!  We are asking each family to stretch a little (or a lot if you can!) and donate to this incredible project.  The VdM campus revitalization project is more than just some shiny new buildings. Our community is growing and thriving and we are in dire need of the physical structures to accommodate our community. This incredible project has far-reaching impacts not only on our school community, but the community at large. Recent research shows that Montessori children exhibit a more highly developed sense of community and social skills than students in other programs. Every donation goes towards not only making VdM a better place, but towards making the world a better place!

Thank you so much for the generosity of your time, resources, and support. The VdM community is truly one of a kind, and I am so grateful for your passion, love, and support each and every year at Villa di Maria! We couldn’t do it without you!  It is our goal to have 100% participation, and while large donations are welcome, we are so truly grateful for every donation to our wonderful school.

Thank you for your continual generosity and support!
